Before you even mount the quad, you get a proper lesson — no experience needed, no embarrassing wobbles. Then the island opens up in a way it never does from a sunbed. Olive forests, ridge paths, the cool hush of the Cave of Milatos, fishing villages where cats outnumber tourists, and a crystal bay where the only sensible thing to do is jump in. This is Crete without the gift shops.

Itinerary

• Start
  Hotel pickup and transfer to base camp. Safety briefing + ATV training (beginners welcome). Helmets and gear provided.
• Stop 1 – Chapel of Prophet Elias
  Ride uphill through olive groves on off-road terrain to reach the chapel and enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the coastline.
• Stop 2 – Vineyards & Olive Forest
  Descend through a green, sun-drenched landscape on an off-road route between ancient vineyards and the olive forest — the real heart of Cretan countryside.
• Stop 3 – Olive Oil Factory
  Tour a local olive oil mill and learn how Cretans have pressed olive oil for centuries. Followed by a tasting — this is where opinions about supermarket olive oil change forever.
• Stop 4 – Cave of Milatos
  Hike an ancient path to one of Crete’s most historically significant caves — where myth, history, and geology meet in the dark. Bring a torch and your sense of the past.
• Stop 5 – Milatos Beach
  Cool off in the crystal-clear waters of Milatos beach. Swim, float, or simply stare at the horizon — you’ve earned it.
• Stop 6 – Fishing Villages: Milatos & Sissi
  Safari through the narrow lanes of two traditional fishing villages where life still moves at the pace it always did.
• Finish – Malia Village
  Arrive in Malia for a well-deserved lunch at a local taverna. Transfer back to your hotel. Return with dust on your boots and a full heart.
