Folklore Music Nights
Cretan Night in Karouzanos
Feel like a real Cretan for one unforgettable evening in the traditional village of Karouzanos. Music, dancing, local wine, village hospitality, and a feast worthy of old Crete — no plastic folklore, just good food, good rhythm, and hopefully two left feet becoming one good dance.
Experience Overview
Join us for a lively evening full of Cretan music, traditional dancing, and delicious local food. Upon arrival in Karouzanos, we take a pleasant walk through the narrow village streets and enjoy the warm hospitality of the locals.
As the sun sets, the evening continues with a traditional Cretan feast. You will taste local dishes prepared with Cretan cheese, pure olive oil, fresh meat, and products from the island’s land. Local wine is included, while the sound of the Cretan lyra sets the mood.
Dancers in traditional costumes perform Cretan and Greek folk dances, and by the end of the night, guests can join in and learn the basic steps. Bring your good mood — the rest is handled by Crete.
